CELEBRATING 4 YEARS OF SAUÚTI

March 2026 marks the four years of the Sauútiverse!

Where did the time go? So much has happened since this shared world was birthed.

From Mothersound to Sauúti Terrors, the world is growing in all forms, from short stories, to poetry and art.

We’re pleased to announce that the Sauúti Terrors London book launch was a great success and interest in the Sauútiverse is growing.

Daunt Books, London 2026
Flame Tree Press, London 2026

And Sauúti Terrors, in all its auditory glory, has been released as an audiobook, available (open for pre-orders) 17 March on Libra.fm, with narrators Christel Mutombo and Kofi Boakye.

We’re also super excited to bring you the Sauúti Terrors podcast, which you can listen to on Spotify, Apple or YouTube, and the latest review of Sauúti Terrors, published in The Continent.

Wole Talabi’s novella Descent is a finalist for the BSFA Awards and featured on the 2025 Locus Magazine Recommended Reading list, while Eugen Bacon’s The Nga’phandile Whisperer is a twice finalist in the Foreword Indies Book of the Year and got a nod for Superior Achievement in Long Fiction on the 2025 Bram Stoker Award preliminary ballot.

And that’s not all! Our Sauútivites are hitting goalposts – just saying. Black Friday, a collection of short stories, which includes Cheryl’s Sauútiverse story ‘The Way of Baa’gh’, by Flame Tree Press is a BSFA finalist. It also made the 2025 Bram Stoker Preliminary Ballot.

In other updates, Book 2, now titled Sauúti Horror, will be released in January 2027.
